Hi, we have a hot real estate market here in Idaho and we are making an offer on a 3 acre parcel of land. There are likely to be many offers coming in for it and another parcel right next to it. We want to write a contract for one or the other parcel (not both) in the hopes of being selected to buy one of them. We have 4 days to submit the offer(s) and the owner will review them to determine who he will proceed with. Any recommendations on how to word the contract would be appreciated. We need to make sure we don't end up with both. Thanks in advance.

Add contingencies to both offers to purchase.

The only viable recommendation you can get from an anonymous stranger on the internet (who may or may not be a lawyer and likely isn't in Idaho) is to retain the services of a realtor and/or a real estate attorney. Anyone who advises you how to word your contract based on four sentences of information would be a fool (and probably practicing law without a license), and you'd be a fool to follow such advice.

We needed to know if it was possible, I understand legal advice for the explicit wording is now needed. Thanks Quincy.
