we have been paying on a mobile home for three years and our boss never had us sign the papers to put it in our name and he passed away and his wife wants us to refinance the home in our name, but we dont want the house we just want the money we put into it in the last three years, are we intitled to that?

My response:

Are you asking for a dollar-for-dollar refund? If so, are you saying that you believe you had a right to free housing for those 3 years?

Probably, you can consider, or the owner can consider, what you have paid each month as rent.

There's probably more to this situation than you have stated. If so, please let us know.
