My wife had a C-section to deliver our daughter 2 months early. The surgery was on a friday. Saterday she was experiencing leg cramps, leg swelling, shortness of breath. The doctor said it could be from lying in bed for two days. Cold packs, Hot packs, and an occasional message was given. On monday the symptoms continued so an ultrsound was conducted. Nothing was found. She was discharged on Tuesday. Thursday she cant walk with out great pain. Another ultrsound was done. A clot from her crotch down to her calf was discovered. She was admitted for 5 days, and now is taking meds for the next three months. Is this Malpractice??

I wish I could help you, but I don't handle medical malpractice suits. An attorney that specializes in that area of law is going to be your best source of advice. Perhaps on of the other attorneys that usually responds to these posts can give you better advice.

Otherwise, I would recommend that you speak with a medical malpractice attorney near you. You should be able to find one at attorneypages.com].
