Management of our Condo Owners Association mailed end of year statement and a bill to me. I observed seriuos errors in the ststement and called for an explanation before I pay pending bills. They promised to retify the mistakes and keep me informed. Instead of sending a ratification, they filed a complain by their Attorney. The Attorney mailed certified letters to an address that I lived at for 6 months when I was looking for the property to buy (that was in 1997). Naturally, the mails were not claimed. The Association have my current address, we have actually been correspoding through my current and e-mail addresses. Because the the ddress to which the mails were sent was wrong, I did not receive any notice fron their Attorney. He then proceeded to file a lien on my property again without my knowlwdge and proceeded to file a foreclosure on my property again without my knowledge. This came to light when I decided to sell the property. Naturally they have incured unnecessary costs because all the mails were sent to a wrong address even though they have my current address. I was forced to pay their costs including the attorney fee to close on my property. Do I have right to claim thses fees and also demand explanation for the error in the ststement?
