so no one could answer it. But the answers to your questions are yes and yes. The police CAN come get you and take you home, and they CAN charge your boyfriend with harboring a runaway. Even if you left willingly. Even if they are hitting you at home. Even if pretty much anything you can think of.

Whether they WILL or not is unknown. But they CAN.

If you are being abused, call CPS. Or tell a counselor at school. Or another trusted teacher, doctor, pastor, mandated reporter. There are answers that will not put you and your boyfriend/his family in legal jeopardy. Running away is not one of them.
