What is the name of your state?
OH
I was stumbling through some posts of the past few days and came up with a question.
If a child is exposed to marijuana y a parent, and the second hand smoke of it, can that child be tested for it being in their system?
Does that second hand smoke appear in their system?

Re

I say it is possible, because I have heard of people getting a "contact high" by being in a room while others were smoking it. However i think only very small traces of THC would show up in the urine and probably for only a day or so. But I think you would have to be engulfed in smoke to actually have anything show up in the urine.
They sell home drug tests in the pharmacy now.

In a UA there would have to be a higher amount to register- If you think the child is continually being exposed, a hair follicle test would be better and covers a longer amount of time. They are expensive, but worth it. If you read on the net you'll see a few cases where this was used successfully re; custody when the other parent refused to test themselves &/or the court didn't order the other parent to test.
