I've been separated for over 5 years. In that time I suspect highly my ex has dissipated most of the marital assets.

We had 3 vehicles at separation, I got 1 (that I'd had for many years), he got the other 2. Only 1 was in both our names; the other 2 were in his name only. Unfortunately, the car I retained was only in his name.

He's already disposed of 1 car and now wants to get rid of the other in his possession (the 1 in both names) so is forcing me to sign it over to him.

He has the registration and stickers for the car I kept. It also needs to be inspected. I can't do this without the registration. He's therefore made sure I can't drive my car. I won't get the registration and stickers unless I sign over the other car.

If I refuse to sign over the title, he will get rid of the car currently in my possession and have his girlfriend tow his car away. They'd charge both owners towing and storage but if they bill him, he won't pay and cares nothing about his already ruined credit. Therefore, I'd have to pay.

I feel I'm being blackmailed and I have no choice in the matter. The deadline for my signing over the car to him is Saturday. Please help.
