I'm a U.S. Citizen who married Indian Citizen in VIRGINIA who came to US on Fiance' Visa. After month, she went back to India and we been separated for over a year. Divorce granted in INDIA 1 year after separation while she was in India.

However, it would probably be in your best interest to get a certified translation of the divorce decree done so that you will have it and the original available to show anyone who needs proof that you are divorced.
