my husband and i are still married, living together, but i see divorce is coming. he is a farmer and i am a homemaker. we live in louisiana. i believe that he is cheating because he has admitted it, but now denies he said anything. he has nothing to do with me or my children who are fully grown. he goes out all hours of the night to bars. he drinks alot. he tells me he will do what he wants to do. i have had it, but i need to know my rights. my question is if i leave him now and file for divorce am i responsible for paying half of the taxes. i was not working at all and am not working now. if i leave does he have to pay alimony? am i responsible by law to pay half of the bills(credit cards)? please help with information about my rigths.
