How much time do I have before the Marshall's arrival to remove me from premises in Southern California ? I did not answer the 'Unlawful Detainer Complaint' which I probably could have and probably would have won. If it matters I have a verbal lease only for two years and the condition of the place is majorly uninhabibtable according to city inspection. Any and all repairs that have been made were by me. I sent the landlord a not yesterday promising to be out by Sun., 2-4-2001 at the very latest, but have had no response.

depends on how much work they have usually a couple of days......

BUT here in NY CITY if you rush down to the court house and find the judge who issued the warrant, and pay Every last cent you owe of the judgement....the judge could halt the eviction.

Now cbreeze.....YOU know you are a loser and a complete fool for not even showing up in court and trying to defend yourself

I cant belive there are such WIMPS like you still left like you in the world.

You live in the best country in the world, you were given LEGAL rights by our constitution, and YOU PISssSED THEM ALL AWAY

YOU deserve to have all your stuff thrown out on the street, do you feel better now .

Marshall's Arrival Part II

I asked about the marshall's arrival, but is there any way for me to find out from the court how long I have ?
Also, I do not one bit feel like a wimp nor loser for not going to court. Why would I try to stay in a place that I have grown to loathe as well as it's owner and the town that it's in ?! I am already packed, but can't move until Friday.. I just don't want to lose my stuff.

Thank You

YOU ARE A LOSER

because a judgement will appear on your credit report for 10 YEARS making it very very hard to rent anywhere else, and also if you have any credit card well you probably wont be able to get any more....

Also if it is a MONEY judgement..you will have bill collectors after you to pay it, so have fun dealing with them

and you could have you paycheck attached for the money, explain that to your boss

Unless the landlord only asked for possession and NO MONEY, you are screwed.....

Better move TODAY....or put your stuff in storage OR GO RIGHT NOW AND RENT A UHAUL TRUCK FOR 5 DAYS AND PUT THE STUFF IN THERE..park it ouside and when a marhall come well get a hotel room...... IT CAN AND WILL GET UGLY!
