My apartment has a built-in TV antenna and for over 2 years the landlord will not fix it. It was one of the amenities when I rented the apartment over 30 years ago. The apartment is located in Bronx, NY.

What recourse do I have?

Thanking you in advance.

Better yet, why don't you get satellite TV service.

Reception is great, cost is getting cheaper and cheaper, and whats more is that recent FCC rulings state that LL cannot prevent you from putting your small, 18" dish antenna up on the outside of the building. The FCC says you have a right to access to this broadcasting.

LL can have some control over how and where you install the antenna, so coordinate with him.

A working master antenna may be your right, as part of essential services that LL has to deliver to you. What have you been doing for two years?
