I live in Illinois and have been married for 19 years. I have been faithful to my husband in all of those years. We have two children 18 & 15. I work for the education system in our city and am paid an hourly rate for the hours that I work when children are present in school. I do not recieve an income during the summer months or over Christmas break. My husband has found another woman via the internet and has now hooked up with her. He has drug my children and I through an emotional roller coaster over the last 6 months. He has been very non-committial to the end of this divorce, therefore leaving me with the hope that my marriage might just be salvageable. I am to the point where I can no longer continue with this up and down come and go attitude of his. He truly does not know what he wants. My sister mentioned to me that she has seen several new documentaries where the spouse of an adulterous affair has sued the other woman for emotional and mental abuse. Is this a possibility?? I have lost everything. During this 6 month upeveil, I was also forced to delcare bankruptcy with my spouse. I have sought the advice of a local attorney and am somewhat pleased with what the state of Illinois has to offer me. I just feel very violated and I get nothing in return. Thank you for any advice you may have to offer me.
