I live in the state of Kentucky and would like to know if there is a maximum number of hours an employer can force an employee to work.

If you are over 18, there is no limit unless you are under a collective bargaining agreement (or in California). However, Kentucky is one of the states that requires one day off per week (one out of seven).

As much as I had hoped that the information about KY having a law that requires an employer to give an employee one day off a week, I have since found out that this law pertains to minors.
