What is the name of your state? Maryland.
My wifes employer clearly states in their employee manual when employees are eligible for paid vacation, paid sick time and paid holidays however is makes no reference to this payment being at a dramatically reduced rate. While this is obviously intentiionally deceptive, is it illegal? The business is a child care facility. Thanks

i dont think so

since it is not required by law for an employeer to offer these things,i would assume that they can offer whatever percentage they choose since it is a gift and not a requirement by law...the senior members here can clarify so much more than me,i just know that they dont have to offer any of it and that is all...good luck!
