Server: what kind of coke
Me: regular is fine

Me: puzzled.. what do you mean?

Yep, that is a common conversation in restaurants around here. Or at least was, you really don't hear it as much as you used to.

Yup. Coke, Pepsi, Sprite...it's all tonic.

I used to spend a lot of time in MA (Chelmsford and vicinity specifically) and never heard it called tonic.
