I have a dental bill of about $800.00 after insurance. I do not have the money right now and a lawyer contacted me today and said I have until Monday to pay or he will file suit. What can I do? Also, the orignal bill was $400.00 or so. Now, a month later it has doubled. Whats that about?
Well, then you're going to have to either work something out with the lawyer or you'll be going to court. Most of the time you'll be sent to negotiate a settlement before you see a judge anyway, so if he won't deal now - he might later.
