What is the name of your state? TEXAS
My step-daughter just had surgery. We are supposed to pay 1/2 of all unreimbursed medical bills. Can we have it set up at the dr's offices to have them bill her(the mom) for half and us for half? We would rather pay the provider directly......is this possible?

its possible, it depends on the wording of your court order. Does your court order specify who pays who?

our court order is very specific. And states the provider is to be paid directly.

in any case, make sure you get receipts for any payments you do make to the docotrs office.

We have never had to do that though.
