Divorced in Massachusetts. Divorce agreement states wife shall maintain medical coverage for ex. Remarried to a co-worker. Completed chg of status to add new spouse to coverage. HR added new spouse and deleted ex without any notice. Want to go back to family coverage for wife (w/ex) and single coverage for new spouse. HR says no. HR says wife and new spouse must have family coverage and ex can be covered under COBRA for 36 months. Is this legal?
