What is the name of your state? South Carolina.
My question is: Does a pregnant woman qualify for a Medicaid unsurance through her pregnancy in case she looses her job and current coverage? If one of the family members is unemployed and the other member's hours has been reduced at work is there any additional option for a health insurance coverage?
From the Social Services I've been told that only an american citizen can qualify for a Medicaid. For non-citizens, for example "green card" holders it doesn't apply. Is there any other options?
