I have a friend that is going through a divorce. She dropped her husband from her medical insurance plan. The husband wants the wife to put him back on her insurance. Does she have too? The judge stated that he was not an attorney and doesn't know. The trial is still going on. She needs something, in writing, that states that she does not have to, or, at least, has the option and there is no "law" that states that she has to cover the him. Is there any law that states you have to cover your spouse for medical insurance? HELP!! Need rushed reply.

No, there is no law that says you must cover your spouse for medical insurance.
