My father has recently been diagnosed with Non small cell cancer of the lungs and it is in stage III. He had been seeing a general physician for 3 years and had been diagnosed with Bronchitis over and over. He is a smoker and also a vietnam vet(Agent Orange). The cancer is too far along now and can't be treated with any success. We are going to have to shut down our family business and lose everything. The worse part is that I've been told the physician could have prevented this with a simple sputum analysis. Can the physician be held negligent?
