could someone help me on this????

my mother passed away on April 21st this year from her lungs collapsing after years of illness. she had developed rheumtoid arthritis around 1972 and her physician at the time put her on cortisone and took her off of it at one time instead of tapering her off resulting in her body not producing its own cortisone so she has been on it ever since. over the years of having to take the drug and the disease affecting her body as well as her organs she eventually developed rheumatoid lungs and was in and out of the hospital with phneumonia and her bones breaking due to the cortisone destroying her bones. her physician at that time years ago wrote a letter to her new physican apologizing to "him" for taking my mother off the drug incorrectly. she had become completely immobile in the past few years due to this and couldn't get off of her oxygen nor could she feed herself. we sat by her for 7 hours with her lungs collapsing before she passed away. is there anything that we can do at this late date because this physician is still in practice in houston, texas? i live in conroe, texas

It seems to me that the statute of limitations for suing would have run out a long time ago. The only thing I can suggest is see an attorney. Good luck to you.
