Is there a such thing as medical neglect?? What is medical neglect?? Do the laws, if any, differ from state to state?? Are there web sites with info on this subject?? Where??

YES! There is definitly something called medical negligence. I am presently persuing such a case myself. I'm from NY, but I am unsure of laws from state to state. My best advice would be to call around to different law firms and get a "phone" assessment of your situation. I do know that in NY, there has to be some kind of long standing injury in order to prove neglect. for example tho, mine is simply that I have a large scar from an avoidable surgery had my MD been on task with my problem. Look in your yellow pages for law offices that deal with medical malpractice. It's a start at least, and I send the best of luck to you. Just don't give up!
