My aunt have missed many days from work, and blood clot treatment and she is still having some level of discomfort and pain to the leg. Please advice on how we can navigate this negligence. Thank you.

She might always have discomfort in her leg.

Depending on results of further tests (DNA), she may have take anticoagulants for the rest of her life. (Anti-coagulants = blood thinners.)

This does not mean that the blood clot is an indicator of medical malpractice. She could have a genetic blood clotting disorder. If it turns out that she has a genetic clotting disorder, her blood relatives should also consider DNA testing, particularly if they plan on doing anything that increases their estrogen, whether it be naturally (pregnancy) or artificially (contraceptive, HRT, artificial estrogen).
