What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
My son is a automobile mechanic by trade. He has migrane headaches quite often and attempted to seek medical help to be relieved of these attacks. The process he has gone through left him unable to pursue his career as a mechanic. Further, he now is in constant pain and can not perform normal household or yard duties. His hands/arms are numb and normal functions with them are painful or non-functional at times.

Does he have a case to seek retribution from the medical staff and facilities who and where these procedures were performed? He is now unable to earn a livelihood for himself or his family.

Can you help him?

Which process has your son actually undergone?

As a migraine sufferer, for the last 12 years, I'd have to ask who he was seeing and what procedures he's had done. Is he seeing a neurologist? A chiropractor? Pain clinic?

You can PM me if you want.

Are you an attorney or physician?

Remember - this is not a support board. It's a legal board.

I would like to know which procedures you're talking about, as well.

What was their diagnosis? How are his migraines currently being treated and by whom?

I am not an attorney or doctor, but am a long time sufferer and do have quite a bit of knowledge of what current procedures and treatments are available. I also sued my doctor in 2006 (and won) for malpractice concerning said headaches. Also am on SSD and Medicare because the headaches affect daily living.

I see nothing wrong with asking OP to PM. I see you guys offering other posters that constantly. If you specifically do not, fine. But I will use it as it is available.

If migraines are your son's problem, why does the subject line read, "Medical procedures leaves me next to being helpless"?

I had migraines in the '80s. I would barely be able to function one day and be flat on my back the next in a recurring pattern. The doctor prescribed allergy pills that contained pseudophedrine and suggested I skin test for allergenes with an eye to shots. I had well over 400 test injections of ragweed, cat dander, oak, Bermuda grasses, etc., then discovered the shots didn't work. Another doctor asked me if I wanted to spend the rest of my life taking allergy pills. Better choice for me than taking shots that didn't work.

My point is, your son needs to consult with more doctors rather than rely on one or two opinions. Some of the symptoms he has don't seem to "jive" with anything else I've read about.

from a previous thread from the OP:

I have a question about an operation I had on my neck now causing me to be unavilable for work because of pain and slow recovery. I have no income, my bills are piling up and my doctor will not release me for work. I am an automobile mechanic by trade. The work is heavy, hard and several times long hours.
If OP follows their own trends, there will be no follow up posts to this thread by the OP.
