A trucking company had me take a Medical Exam during the prehire phase. I was not hired. They refuse to release the results of the exam to me. They say they paid for it and so the information is theirs. They told me I could buy it by paying for the exam.

Can they withhold medical personal history from me and/or make me pay for this information?

I am going to go with another company and will have to take another exam at my cost. Seems like I should be able to have access to any of my personal medical history.

Please advise.

Thanks
