What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

50/50 legal custody, primary parent with 67% physical custody mon-fri

Mother has been making Dr appointments and not notified me so I could attend. Mother is also not sharing information I have given her regarding the childs health with the Dr.

Child has no real symptoms but while at a general check up, Dr noticed some inflamed nasal tissue. I explained to mother the child just got over a cold a few days previous.

Mom took the child against my will to a allergy specialist, who tested and found nothing, and then xrayed to check for a nasal infection, test came back negative as I knew they would. Again child has no outward syptoms at all.

My real issue

The allergist recommended Omnaris for 10 days, the child under this steriod and seems to have a allergic reaction which causes more inflamation and hard breathing at night, resulting in snoring and what sound like labored breathing. Mom made another appt and didnt tell this information to the Dr who now after the ten day trial of Omnaris has put the child back on this medication.

I dont want my child having this medication, its causing more issues, then solving anything. It also has some pretty serious side affects listed on the manufacturers page, some of which I see, [as noted]

Do I have the right to not medicate my child even though the Dr has made a prescription?

it really sucks having a parent, not co-parent on these issues.

I made a phone call to the allergist, who was the only person to let me know that Omnaris was only for a ten day trial. Not the mother at drop off when she handed me the medication. Most of the bad symptoms from the medication seemed to get worse towards the end of the ten days

The allergist, just got off the phone with me, and thats why im posting. She let me know the child was in for a xray which I had no clue about. She said mom didnt tell her any of the side affects. So I told her. She came back on the phone and stated "she is only letting me know the results of the xray and ignored and would not address any issues of the Omnaris.
