Hi,
I received a copy of the itemized statement from the hospital where my grandmother passed away around 8 p.m. on April 19. The statement lists medications given after she died on April 20th. The statement even lists the 20th as the service date. Since I have no knowledge of what happens in a hospital after someone dies, I'm not sure if these are legitimate charges for normal proceedures or if they are just trying to milk Medicare for everything they can get. Does anyone have any information in that area? Thanks.
BTW, they list stuff like Levoflox, Thiamine, DOP400 PMX, Folic acid and Asorbic acid.
