Patient "A" is not related but been taking care for the last few years and is now suffering from dementia. "A" is single and has other siblings but not very close. "A" been living alone since teens. I am one of the joint signatories to "A" bank accounts. How should I proceed to take care of a dementia patient legally? Would my chance be increased if "A" is to live with me instead of a nursing home?
