What is the name of your state? Michigan

This is crazy! My ex refuses to pay his child support and the Friend of the court says nothing they can do - they did take away his drivers license but he still drives. His only "job" is babysitting his girlfriends kids while SHE works (welfare pays her babysitting costs!) - they say they cannot take that because its a state payment!

Any advice?

Well...that certainly seems a bit "odd". Its odd that the state would pay him as a "daycare provider"....and a bit odd that they also couldn't withhold.

However if he is properly licensed and registered it would make sense.

You do realize however that since you know that he does not have a valid license, you CAN refuse to allow him to pick up your children if he is driving?

I DON'T let him take them - which of course makes me the evil parent --they pay him the childcare through some program she is on - he's not licensed but lives in the same home!
