Well ... what defense do you have? If you were caught with a bottle of booze in your hand, there may be nothing you can do besides pay the fine.

NO Bottle

WEll the situation was that we were driving to a club and our sober driver was doing 16 over. We were pulled over and all together 6 of us received MIP's. there was one non open bottle of beer in the car. I blew a .06 and I dont kno what to do. I dont want to take the defferred route because if I were to get another one, it comes right back and I am basically screwed. The cop was really cool with all of us and he actually told us to fight it, so now i am in a pickle.

**A: I don't understand why you would be basically screwed if you were to get another one. Don't you know how NOT to get another MIP charge?

I do

Did u read the situation on how unlucky that was. Ive been basically drinkin since i was 16 years old and I went 2 years without getting one and one bad night where are driver decides to speed. Im just sayin there is that chance and With taking the defferred route that charge still lurkes there and if I possilbly try to get a job in the criminal justice area, that will come up and i might not be able to get the job that i want because of one bad night. I dont want it to be there period.

**A: get real. This issue is not about speeding at all but minors in possession.

Sweetheart - the answer is quit drinking 'til you're of age. Then you won't have to worry how it might affect your career choices. And ya know..... if you want to have a job in the criminal justice area, you might want to start with not breaking the law. Unless you want to learn criminal justice from the inside. Grow up.

**A: you are just a dumbass kid in denial. Go ahead and blame the driver all you want to. Someday when you grow up, you will realize the truth.

Okay, you are at your trial and the prosecutor shows you had a bottle of booze and you tested .06.

I am your attorney.

What do I say to the judge?

**A: Your Honor, I respectfully request that this case be dismissed because the driver was speeding.
