Minor and Psychic

i live in calif. one day my 12 year old daughter decided that she would call one of the psychic's she has heard advertised on tv. she was on the phone for 20 minutes. since then we have been solicited many times by the psychics and informed them that a minor had called and to take us off their list. when i received the phone bill i was being billed for $103. i told the phone company that i disputed the call and they removed it from the bill. now i have received a collections letter.
i feel that not only was the psychic a fraud for not knowing that my daughter was a minor and would be in trouble for making the call, but just the fact she is a minor should be enough to not be liable to pay the bill. any thoughts?
