I would really appreciate anyone's help on this. I got a minor in consumption, my first ticket ever. I now have 40 hours of alchohol counseling, 3 aa meetings, 3 drug screens, and a family meeting. The total cost of everthing is $550. I live in Bloomington and am a freshman at IU. I work two jobs to begin paying for all of this because I have to drive to FT. wayne, (3 hours away) every week and pay the 20 dollars for the session. Is there any legal way or any way at all for me to get this reduced or something? I need help so bad. The cop that pulled us over didn't change the straws on the breathalizer and he let the 21 year old, who had bought the alchohol and blew .10 drive the three minors home. He even let us keep the alchohol. Please tell me you have some great advice. Thank you so much.

My response:

I'm sorry, but I have a really low tolerance for drinking drivers. I think they get what they deserve. Hey, at least I'm being honest about it ! If there's someone else who feels they can help you, they'll write, but don't hold your breath (that's a pun).
