What is the name of your state? LA

Say an adult male, age 18, was sending rather sexually explicit e-mails to an in-state minor female, age 15, and the girls parents found and copied the documents and notified the police and the police said to never contact said female ever again as a warning to the male. After waiting for the girl to turn 18, could there still be legal implications involved in contacting her as an adult to an adult if the said female still wishes to communicate as well?

Could the documents which portray the illegal conduct when said adult female was a minor still be hung over the guys head as blackmail by the parents?

The documents likely were not submitted to the police, as the police would be obligated to follow suit with the law to its fullest extent, and that never happened, but the police did state that the parents have such documents.

Did this happen for real or is it just a "what if"? Unless it is a real issue, I doubt anyone will waste time with an answer.

Paradise sounds like one that needs to do some growing up. Yes, this has happened actually, the two have known each other for the last 6 years, although before that incident, from what I understand there wasn't anything that happened beforehand, the girls e-mail was broken into and the parents found the e-mails. Before the two agreed to stop talking completely due to the girls mothers threats, they made a promise to talk again after she was of age, they both really like each other and they both are local for the most part, and the guy just wants to know if its legally okay for them to talk now.
