Hello!
This comes from Texas. I have sixteen year old nephew, and he happens to drive a rather expensive fast car. I know that in Texas, there is no threshold for 'reckless driving', but he often goes rallying with adults or other people with sports cars, and I'm curious as to what would happen if he was arrested since the police have often gone out of their way to pull him over.
Say he was driving a 130 mph (or anything that could constitute reckless driving) and he was arrested, what would happen? He is only sixteen, so he cannot go to a regular jail, and I believe that juveniles cannot post bail.
Thank you! I just hope to show him why driving that fast, even with adults, is not a good idea.
