Not sure if this is the right forum, but I thought it'd be a good place. How can a minor be bound to a contract? If parents agree, sign, and accept responsibility, is the contract binding? What would need to be done to have a binding contract between a minor and another company/individual? (Assuming parents can/will sign and accept responsibility).

Thank you for your help!

Is this a homework question?

Isn't your contract then with the parents?

No, it's not a homework question.

In this case the minor (not the parents) will be doing the work (it's for a temporary work period).

Thanks for your help.

In most cases (with a few exceptions) contracts entered into with a minor are voidable. Minors can't contract. As Senior Judge has stated what are the particulars?

Sure. A company wants to hire a minor to do some temporary work, but all employees have to sign a NDA. How can the minor be bound to the NDA? I'm thinking that if the parents accept the responsibility, it's legally binding?
