Hi I live in Nebraska. Now in the beginning of november last year I was caught with less than an ounce of marijuana, and had a beer in the car which lead to an mip. There was no fighting it as I knew I screwed up. I was forced to pay a $499 fine, serve 2 days in jail, and attend a alchol class. None of that would of happend if I didn't have that one beer in the car. I also was placed on 3 months probation. Now 3 months just got over, I recieved an extension to pay my fines since I am a college student. But I haven't been able to afford the class. With my 3 months being up, what does that mean will happen? Do i stay on probation until I have done so?

No, it means you go back to court - and possibly to jail.

Find a way to pay the money. Coming up with $500 in 3 months is less than $40 per week - you may have to get a job.
