Dear Sir, or Ma'am,
I am in Florida. Federal Express delivered my MS Contin (morphine) 60 mg. Qty 180 to the wrong address. As a result of their mistake I ran out of my medication. I am on the Perdue Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Program (IPAP)I checked online to track the package and it came up as being delivered. Someone else had signed for it and I eventually found out it was delivered four houses down from me. I called Perdue and they told me they were unable to resend my prescription as it is a controlled narcotic. I called my Dr. but he would not write another prescription for me until he had proof that I did not sign for the package. I also had to call the Police. Both my Dr. and the Police Officer all but accused me of trying to get a double prescription. When I ran out of the medication I suffered withdrawal and I guess mental anguish, (I also take Prozac for Clinical Depression.) My Dr. finally got a proof of signature from Fed Ex and gave me a prescription for a five day supply of MS Contin which cost me $91.99. Is there any action I can take against Federal Express? I also found out my prescription was returned to Perdue because Federal Express deemed the medicine contaminated and I may not get this months supply of medication at all. Thank you, Robert
