I live in Michigan. In Jan. of 2004, I bought a 2004 Honda Civic from a local dealer. There were only 4k miles on it, and it was very reasonably priced ($13,900). When asked if there was any reason why it was so well priced, we were never given good reason. Two days after I had bought the car, I had a problem with the heat. I took my car in, where I was told it had been wrecked by the previous owner. They made repairs on the car, and gave us an extended warrantee. It's July now, and I'm trying to sell the car for an SUV. We took it to a dealer to get it appraised. This dealer could right away tell the car had been wrecked, the paint job is awful on the spot it was repaired, and the welding is bad as well. The dealer is saying we have a very good case to sue the dealership. I'm not sure if I'm in the market to take this to court, but it's very hard to sell my car now, because it's been wrecked. If they had told us it had been wrecked, I certainly wouldn't have boughten it. Would I be out of line to ask them for a complete refund on my car back, even though I've had it for 7 months?
