What is the name of your state? Iowa
I actually purchased the vehicle in oklahoma. The vehicle was listed on autotrader and on their website. I have print outs of both ads. The ads listed options such as Anti-lock brakes, cruise, power mirrors. Since it was a drive to pick it up, before i left i called and asked specificly each option to make sure it had them. When i got there the sunroof didn't even work, so my mind was mostly thinking about that. I have no way of telling if it has ABS or not except by going on his word. On the way home i realised that it doesn't have power mirrors, not a big deal. I couldn't find the cruise control, but assumed that i just wasn't finding it since he told me it had it. When i got home my friend who is a mechanic checked over the car again, to find out that it doesn't have ABS or cruise control.
Since he had two ads that listed these features, and he told me that they were definatly on there before i came all the way down to get it, do i have any legal recourse?? ABS there isn't much we can do about aftermarket, power mirrors i'm not really worried about, but cruise i will have installed. i have offered for him to pay to have that installed and not worry about the rest but he's refused that as well.
Is there anything i can do??

Options missing..........

You mention the Autotrader and website. Did you purchase this from an individual or licensed dealer?

Done deal.....

Unless your purchase contract specifically addressed the items you mentioned, your bill of sale/purchase agreement most likely had an "as is" clause and/or you signed a Buyers Guide which specificaly contains an "as is" clause which supercedes any oral, advertised or written
statements made prior to it. The items you mentioned should have been noticed upon physical inspection and road test prior to signing a sales contract. The only way this deal MAY possibly be turned around is if the title has not yet been delivered to you.
