Fairbanks Capital Corp. has completely mishandeled my mortgage. I am on this site to find out what legal action I can take to demand a response to my phone calls and letters, and requests for correcting our account. I can't get a correct payoff amount from them after months of requests. My situation is that we have paid $1,000s in additional principal payments, which they have misposted to interest and escrow accounts for about 18 months. This is despite taking extraordinary measures to ensure that whoever saw the payments would know they were "principal only". Any direction as to what state or federal agency to contact in their home states of Utah and Pennsylvania, or my home state of Missouri, would be greatly appreciated.
