I have a situation that I'd like some advise on.
I want out of a health club membership. Not because I don't want to be in shape, but because I feel like they aren't giving me what I signed up for. Since I joined, they've eliminated or changed the class times that I was most interested in.
I've also made suggestions to the "suggestion box" that they've ignored. They've originally promised 7 days, now it's 5 1/2 days a week.
Furthermore, I asked when I began my membership if I could cancel it later. They said I could.
Now they say that I'm bound in my contract and have to pay the entire amount if I want out. The total is around $400.00
My question is, is there a way out of a 2 year contract that totals $648.00?
I never would've considered leaving if they would've lived up to their promises. I've also heard other members discussing the issue. Arkansas
Any hope?
