What is the name of your state? illinois

I went in for a complete neck disection at a local hospital, to remove cancerous tumors in my neck. After a year the same doctor wanted to "redo" the surgery but would not give me a definitave answer why. I finally got an appointment with one of the best hospitals in the country for a second opinion. They in turn did infact have to redo the initial surgury to remove the 35 nodes of cancer the first surgeon missed. I have a report from the last surgeon that states the tumors infact were missed by the first surgeon and that there now is major scar tissue buildup in my neck because of two surgeries, that really bothers a lot of normal functions in my neck hands and arms. I do in fact have all the documentation and CT scans from just after the first surgury and a report from the second doctor. Can anyone help me Please????

You have not provided enough facts.

Here is another thread about your cancer from over a year ago

in feb 04 i was diagnosed with cancer my employer after hearing the extent of my surgery told five people that they should " just take me to the back of the barn and shoot me"
and there are others about mold in your apartment to which you respond.
In each case you ask if you have a case.
I suggest if you have that quesiton over and over again you are looking for something.
Take your documentation to a medmal attorney and they can advise you based on the facts in your case.

You may have more than one type of case so it could be very complex. Here is a link re Statute of limitaitons.

I am very sorry to hear about your reoccurrence however, did you have a CT scan prior to the first surgery that documents the nodes that were “missed”?

If not you cannot prove the first surgeon missed those nodes b/c I'm sure you understand that cancer can come back and having surgery to remove involved nodes is sometimes not enough. Other nodes can have minute amount of cancer cells that are not detected via any medical test. The nodes that were "missed" during the first test, may have in fact only had very small numbers of cancer cells in them so that the surgeon thought he had in fact gotten all affected nodes. Furthermore, those nodes may have been in inaccessible areas at that time.
