Recently I missed my sentencing without notifying the court. My charge is operating while impaired and I'm wondering if there is a way to contact the judge or appropriate perosn to apologize and kiss some serious butt so as to not get the book thrown at me when my sentencing is rescheduled. My lawyer avoided them posting a warrant but I'm guessing the judge is pretty steamed.

My response:

Oooooooooh. Somebody's in real big trubbow. You've got that right, "the judge is pretty steamed." You better have a good reason for missing your court appearance, other than "I overslept." Good luck.

A word from someone who's been there:

Contact your attorney and turn your ass in!
If they come get you, the magistrate's wrath will be less lenient and you may gain more charges, if you are illegally impaired. I would be very surprised if a warrant hasn't issued. Turn yo'sef in before they pull you out of bed.
