What is the name of your state? Missouri

I have a used car dealership in Missouri. One of the Department of Revenue (St. Louis) Investigators wants us to e-mail him our monthly sales reports. We also do this for the State of Missouri. All of the e-mails we have been sending him have been bouncing. We have proof of this.

We also tried calling him a few times to notify him of the situation but he never returns any of our cars. We can probably get phone records to verify this also.

He recently gave me a call asking why we haven't been e-mailing him the sales report and I explained to him that the e-mails were bouncing.

He did not like my answer and informed me I have 7 days to shut down my business and return all of my dealer plates. If I don't do so he will put a warrant out for my arrest.

My question is can he legally get a warrant out for my arrest for a civil matter?

Does he not need a court order to shutdown my business and FORCE me to return my dealer plates?

What type of attorney would I need for this?

Contact the DOR in Jefferson City and talk to whoever this guy's supervisor is.

Get everything in writing.

Make sure you have the name of the person you are talking to.

AND, get a mailing address so you can drop those reports in to the mail in the future.

I forgot to mention that we already file our Sales Reports online every month and that goes directly to the Missouri Department of Revenue.

But, him being the big shot he thinks he is, wants us to Also SCAN all that information and send it to his e-mail as well.

The state has all of our records that they require it's just he wants it ALSO delivered to his e-mail which ALWAYS bounce.
