hello, I filed bancruptcy, had it voluntarily dismissed, paid the jude $200 for his trouble, found out it is still on my credit report. I found out that you can file a "motion to vacate" to have it taken off of your report. I contacted my lawyer about it and he didn't seem to know anything about it. He put in a call to the bancruptcy court, but hasn't heard anything yet. If anyone knows how I go about this please let me know soon as my wife and I are relocating and would like to buy a new house. I need this off of my report before I apply for a loan since It never went through. Thank you.
