What is the name of your state (only U.S. law) Pennsylvania?

A friend of mine lost his job and needed money for rent. I have an eBay and PayPal account so I helped him list 15 items under my eBay account. The items sold, buyers paid to my PayPal account and I gave him the profits (selling price minus listing fees). He was supposed to mail the items out a couple days ago, but will not return my calls or emails to verify that he did. My eBay feedback was 100% with 139 positive transactions over 8 years. I don't want to be out nearly $3,000 (which I don't have) just because I tried to help a "friend," but I don't want the 15 winners to be ripped off either. What can I do?

Sue the bad guy in small claims court.
You should have waited for shipment confirmation before forwarding the funds...

At this point nothing. So far all he has done is not return your calls. Now when /if he does not deliver the goods you can then take him to court and possible get recouped for any losses.

I've sold for friends before, but i always take possession of the item first for the exact reason you have come across.
