I live in Illinois and own a mobile home. I don't have it parked in a mobile home park per say. I have a landlord and there are 4 trailers here on a couple of lots. I have been hurt on the job and have been off work for 1 1/2 years. 6 months ago they stopped my work comp payments. I had my lot rent paid up to Nov 2000. I have talked to the landlord on numerous occasions and he is fully aware of my financial situation. He said on numerous occasions he had no problem waiting for the lot rent and he fully understood. I am fighting my work comp and will eventually get all my back pay. Last wednesday I received a certified letter from my landlord. It was a hand written evection notice giving me 10 days to move my trailer of his lot. I then went to the landlord and was going to borrow the money from a relative to pay him. He said he did not want the money he wanted me to move my trailer in 10 days from the day I recieved his notice becasue he had another trailer he wanted to move in. First of all can he do this? If he can, is the 10 days enough notice. He did not go thru the court system he just wrote it out on a piece of paper. Please I need help !!!!! Thank you PSGOOD
