What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania----------------Lease renewal states 1)Renewal term 2/1/09-1/31/10---2)rent amount $10944.00 per annum--monthly installments 912.00, which itemizes--Base rent $889.00, Water/ sewer charge $23.00, Pet charge 0.00 = Total monthly rent $912.00. OK---My question is- My Landlord is telling me that my monthly rent should include pet fees and says my rent is $952.00---My renewal, signed by both parties states Pet Charge is 0.00. and is written as example below:
Base Rent----------------------$889.00
Water/Sewer Surcharge----------$23.00
Pet Charge------------------------0.00
__________

Total Monthly Rent--------------$912.00

Can they charge me a different amount than what is listed on the Agreement To Modify Lease?????

I have had 2 dogs since I have been living in this townhouse community 2005--I have paid pet fees in the past, so I just figured that maybe they were no longer charging me this fee since it is listed as 0.00 on the renewal... I have not gotten any new pets since the renewal signing.
