What is the name of your state? Florida
If a modificatioon for child support was filed in July 03, and an answer was given, can the other person still file a counter petition now?
We (my ex, his attorney and me) finally went to mediation. Of course his attorney was trying to show her muscles (I can't afford an attorney). I was told that if I do not drop this petition, they are going to file a counter petition for child support to be less than ordered 11 years ago (he makes alittle bit more now), all his attorney fees and court costs against me.
I'm having trouble proving his business income and she knows this. Do they have me over a barrell or should I continue? How do I schedule a deposition? and if so, isn't he under oath during it?
Thank you for your help
